I’m a proud momma of 2 beautiful babies with a deep seated passion for helping other new Moms heal from postnatal depletion…
…because I’ve been there.
Born and raised in the small town of South Portland, Maine, I moved to California in 2010. I started a corporate job, working behind a computer all day. For the first time ever, I started gaining weight and feeling my energy slipping through the cracks. Fast forward a year, I looked and felt my absolute worst. I had 2 choices, live like this and continue down this path, or make a change.
So I made a change. I dove in head first into health and nutrition. I got certified as a nutritionist and in exercise science. Another year later, I looked and felt better than ever.
And then I got pregnant. While I felt great during my pregnancy because I was eating all the right things, no one warned me about the need to take care of myself after giving birth. I struggled with crippling postpartum anxiety. I had brain fog, low energy, and was always feeling overwhelmed. I was so focused on taking care of my baby and our family that I lost sight of myself.
I felt awful and suffered alone for more than a year…
Because no one talks about Momma-health after giving birth.
With my second baby, I made a commitment to myself to not allow myself to feel like that again.
And I did it. And now I’m going to talk about it! And I want to help you too.
As a board certified integrative health practitioner and nutritionist, I’m on a mission to not let you struggle in silence like I did.
